Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher ($225):

 

The 8-hour asbestos supervisor refresher course aims to re-certify asbestos abatement supervisors by revisiting essential topics covered in initial training, such as regulations, current issues, abatement techniques, air monitoring, recordkeeping, and equipment.

 

Course Overview:

- This course fulfills the AHERA annual refresher training requirement for asbestos contractors and supervisors.

- Review of key topics from initial training.

- Updates on regulations, including new and modified.

- Overview of recent legislation.

- Discussion on current asbestos-related issues.

- Review of advancements in abatement techniques.

- Air monitoring and recordkeeping practices.

- Equipment overview.

 

Requirements:

- Completion of the 40-hour Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor training and annual refreshers.

- Full attendance is required

- Students must submit copies of their latest certificates at least one (1) day before the class.

Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner Refresher ($225):

 

The 4-hour asbestos inspector refresher course is intended to fulfill the annual re-certification requirements for AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) inspectors, emphasizing regulatory updates and practices.

Asbestos Inspector/ Management Planner Refreshe ($225):

An 8-hour refresher training designed to recertify individuals in asbestos inspection, identification, and assessment, covering topics like regulations, response actions, and recordkeeping. 

Asbestos Project Designer Refresher ($225):

 

This course offers asbestos professionals an in-depth overview of the essential design principles for asbestos abatement projects.

 

Course Overview:

- Regulatory requirements.

- Aadvanced work practices and safety.

- Abatement contract documentation.

- Containment design principles.

- Recent regulatory updates.

 

Requirements:

- Completion of Asbestos Project Designer Initial or annual course.

- A copy of the initial course certificate and the recent applicable refresher training must be submitted to NATEC.

Asbestos Worker Refresher - English & Spanish ($180):

Please note, English and Spanish classes are separate.

 

These 8-hour review courses in both English and Spanish are for the recertification of asbestos workers.

Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Refresher ($180):

 

The 4-hour refresher course is for those who have previously completed the 16-hour course. It focuses on revisiting regulations and best practices related to asbestos maintenance work, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements.

- Relevant regulations

- Safe work practices

- Procedures for managing asbestos-containing material

 

Requirements:

- Participants must have successfully completed the initial 16 Operations & Maintenance course and provide proof of their training.
